► WORLD INFO

planes

• One plane can essentially be very influential to the lower planes, but most of the time the dimensions do not directly clash.
• The higher you are in the plane, the more you can see, but then there's the less you can directly interact with the things you can see below. This is mostly tied to the Spectators that watch how things go.
• The universe is batshit on keeping the planes and everything else in order, so forth balance. If anything conflicts with this circle, bad... bad things happen. It is most apparent that the phenomenon named KILLSWITCH by scientists of Yifei's world phase. The effects of this were the body starts corroding, emotions start dissipating, and it focuses all strengths into physical stats. With casting all things that are not useful to the vessel, this pretty much leads to most "gods" without stability to gradual plane exposure to become quite chaotic.
• The universe will always make sure that things are in balance no matter how high up you are. No matter how ALL MIGHTY AND POWERFUL, you literally might get docked down to be a line in Plane 1 and be a line somehow.
• Speaking of which, people move up and down the planes every life cycle. In a way, it's like reincarnation of sorts.

► BACKGROUND INFO

• The neighborhood she lived in was... pretty much the ghetto. Back when she was young, which was around the 1990s, it was pretty bad. Gangs were out all the times and gun shots were easily heard close to vicinity of the tutoring center next to her home. Parties were huge, crime rates during and outside were high. Police never did get to their jobs until around the end of her high school years.
• The ghetto was obviously mixed with mostly immigrants during the biggest movement into the U.S. and, so forth, the great thing about it is that there was a lot of culture. It was also the reason why a lot of people would say the more ghetto the area, the better the food.
• The schools were actually close to a safe haven for children! At least during school hours. There were a couple of schools around her own area, but she went to the same school as her sister: a normal elementary/middle school and a hybrid high school school between the arts and academics, both public and easier on their wallet.
• Her peers in high school were quite understanding of different sexualities--or at least the ones that she spent most of her time with.
• They lived in a nice area compared to some places in their neighborhood. Their neighbors generally in their cul-de-sac were Chinese that her parents knew back in China.
• Certainly, they were kind of in the middle class front that never left their place for a better one because of these reasons: they felt at home here with all their friends that were nearby, their culture was thriving in this area, and moving on once more is also so difficult. They were in America already, what more is there?

❥ RELATIONSHIPS

• With the community she had a pretty good symbiotic relationship. Many people knew her because of her reckless, rambunctious, and beautiful sister that usually gets free stuff because of her looks. Many have tried to get to her sister by going through her... It's pretty awkward, but she brushed it most of the time off and gets free things, too! Most of the time for being her sister's... sister and once in a while for how she looks when she feels like dressing up. Other than that, she did a lot of community service for many organizations.
• With her family, they had an okay relationship. It was decent when her sister was alive, but kind of went downhill after her death.

Sister Relationship: She had always been compared to her sister despite how different they were. Their interests were different and their styles were also. Nevertheless, she respected her older sister only for the reason that she was older. Though her sister has a lot more street smarts than she did, she didn't exactly have the motivation to make good life decisions. Her sister could be described as that siren beauty that tricked men into loving her before she crushed all their hearts. Every. Single. One of them. Her sister was that harpie that everyone wanted, but could never have. Yifei knew exactly why her sister was like this and didn't exactly condemn it... She only told her sister that playing with others' feelings might get her into some horrid situations. Though her sister acted tough and all-in-all a hard to get tease, she was a good older sister. They were like best friends where her sister would tell her about all that happens around her friends. Though most of the time Yifei listened (her sister liked to talk about herself a lot), it felt like they were really close. They have also done some collaboration work together in school before.

Her sister was the biggest player around town and the freest spirit that irritated their father quite well.

Father relationship: Daddy was the only parent she had since she didn't exactly ever got to meet her mother other than in looking at photos and watching films. She was the goody two-shoes that he trusted the most since her sister was always in that stage of rebellion. They didn't talk much and she knew it was awkward for him to take on a female mother role for the family. ALSO, her dad like many others wanted a boy. Anyway, the silence between them was something serene... In the end, what good ties they had together kind of broke with her older sister's death at a rampaging party. It was the most shittiest night of her life when Yifei, alone, had to tell their father all of the things that her sister had done. Yeah, it wasn’t good anymore, but many times Yifei tried to do great things to bring their family pride and honor.

It never worked. Her father would still push his emotions on how he was a useless parent to how she will never amount to anything.

• Her relationship with her peers is more lighthearted. Like her relationship with her community, she's known throughout the school through her sister, but she had friends of her own. These were peaceful times and she never really got into a fight with anyone. Most of them marveled at how tall she was for being Asian, really.

➽ IMPACT

• She is very used to not having much in the first place... The objects they put their most money on was pictures, films, movies. Things that help them remember and treasure each other rather than what little they had. Once in a while, they would actually care about Christmas and Christmas present, but it would be hard on their father so they eventually stopped celebrating it.
• Since so many things happened and many cultures were mixed into a small area, she learned quite a lot. Her empathy and understanding are for the state of differences in societies and really, she cannot exactly pick on the tiny problems in seriousness. There's a difference between catering to a person and bashing their society to make said person feel better. You do not interfere nor change their lifestyle if they, themselves, do not want to.
• Nevertheless, she took the Chinese culture more than her sister and so forth acts accordingly when needed such as appointments, meetings, interviews, and things of the like. It takes form in her deity alter ego as well except more extreme. Name is something important to her also as it ties her to a certain identity.
• Despite how there's a bunch of cultures and stuff, she has been picked on for being Chinese when she was a kid. Like... DO YOU KNOW KUNG-FU?? WHAT DOES PING PONG CHING CHONG MEAN?? ARE YOU FROM NORTH KOREA? DO YOU EAT BABIES??? COMMUNIST. And stuff like that. It was meaningless curiosity from other kids though there were some unneeded hostility between ethnicity once in a while. Mostly among gangs.
• Since her father wanted a boy before, she has tried to be more boyish and it kind of led her to liking both dominantly male and female things. She dresses as a boy, dresses as a girl, cuts her own hair however she wants. Yep.
• She has learned a couple of tricks that are not all too great during her brigade with her sister. Some of those things include: how to hotwire a car, how to steal without getting caught, how to fight with what you have on you, how to take revenge on someone that played you, how to lie like it’s your profession, image management, etc. etc.
• Her school's influence on her has really made her more open about saying how pretty other girls are in a more attracted way rather than "damn, that girl in the magazine is hot" that some girls have done in the mind of comparing themselves to the models on some covers. Though she does both, she never really tries to compare herself to other girls.
• Though she’s used to not having much, she is also influenced by the materialistic society in America. She is more than well aware of what she has to do to get money, how to get money, and how to make sure she can keep getting money without needing to do much. All of this legally and illegally. Money. Money. Money. She finds it disgusting, but it’s useful to have money. Money brings you a lot of things.
• Being a hybrid school, it was a place for productivity by far in both arts and academics. She captured her ambitious spirit and good sport etiquette there... Along with some other practices in art, dance, theater, and some brainsmarts.
• Since most of the time the people that approach her want to get to her sister, her definition of friendship is quite shallow and that is essentially the reason why she easily accepts no matter who you are. In a way, you can say she finds no true value in some friendships other than some favors now and then. You want to get to know my sister through me while calling me your friend? Give me something in return like discounts. It’s a bit difficult to have a true friendship.
• Really, her self-esteem plummeted somewhere around here after her sister died and her father had a break down. She can never really see herself feminine enough to have any man fall in love with her. She can never really see herself as something of importance. She can never see what purpose or greater good she can exactly bring to the world.
• In the end, she has learned the sad realities of the world at a young age. People kill because for reasons and if you were in that person’s place, you can’t say all too much. People steal because for reasons… Wishes most of the time cannot overlap and in the end will not come true unless you take away someone else’s dreams and crush them for your own.

► MILITARY INFO—DEITY INFO

• This was the stupidest decision she has made. AHAHAHA. She admits she regrets it!! This was the most horrid decision in her life. Then she got over it.
• The camps were separated into distinct categories if it were to be in the same area, god vessels and normal militia.
• It was rigorous especially for vessel candidates. They didn’t need to only be fit, they needed to surpass athletes. People have passed out many times due to immense fatigue and it only kept going despite the large numbers that seem to be failing.
• They specialized in many types of weapon usage and combat styles… Most were really strange, especially Yifei’s department that dealt with acrobat-like movements and lightning-speed attacks. It’s like the ninja squad or something except less stealth and more power.
• Her codename for missions and classification is ARGENTA, meaning silver… it’s misleading as hell since her power manifested itself as a black jaguar. At least its tail has a silver tip? In a way, it seems to represent something like a contrail, a comet tail, and things of that sort.
• It was less competitive than her previous education unless it had to do with fighting and brawls. Playful sparring anyway.
• She became aware of Project WARPLUG after some snooping around and didn't get caught for it... She and a couple of others were the only ones that knew what was being done with them.
• When she was planning to warn the others, the third World War conveniently happened.
• She led an ambush squad of her own into war, yep.
• In the end, it was very difficult to tell who was your enemy in this war when you're a war vessel. The government that watches over you and uses you? Though really it's the scientists making their own moves, but that isn't the point. Or the enemy that is trying to stop this government, but also killing innocent people. All is fair in love and war as they would say.

❥ RELATIONSHIPS

• With the army in general she had a pretty good relationship with her fellow soldiers in arms. They provided much laughter and comfort from a day's back-burning labor. She found something more like family than she has ever truly had for a long period of time. She felt at home perfectly for once without the conflicting feeling that her house isn't at all friendly like it used to be. In a way, this warm relationship reminds her a lot about how she was clearly missing out in this type of feeling.
• With the Circlet group, she had pretty strong ties with them before they were chosen. Mostly with Mao Hsieng due to being also Chinese. They were closer to her than any of her friends before and it was really something new to her. Though they were all quirky, some awkward, and some really hard to approach, they were her friends. They made many promises that when the war is over they'll have a lot of reunions and keep in touch. Yeaaaah, those never happened due to the world shift.
• THE RELATIONSHIP SHE HAD WITH SCIENTISTS WERE NONEXISTENT AND FILLED WITH SUSPICION.
• She really felt that she was kind of betrayed by the government in the end, though she thought it wasn't that important anymore.

➽ IMPACT

• What she learned from the military really conflicted how she saw friendship. People use each other under the guise of friendship and she's not sure if she wants that. People... can be horrible and she doesn't know how much more would it take to really hurt her in this zombie-like state. True friendship is a scary thing and it really keeps her on guard. But what is true friendship? When she actually opens up to you, not the other way around. She'll take it that they are friends! But not exactly true/close friends. It's a bit complicated, haha.
• Holy shit, everyone has weird hair/eye colors. She got used to this!! So pretty.
• She learned how to stay more fit and not eat junk food?! Basically she led an even healthier lifestyle and learned a lot of cooking techniques there. Before, she would eat whatever she wanted and still not gain weight. Genes are beautiful.
• Fighting, short bow, blah blah blah, power use, blah blah blah. She became pretty dangerous and stuff, but at least she is sane.
• With the name change to Argenta, she kind of felt that she could move on from her past. When people call her by this name, she feels at ease compared to her real name. It only reversed because of that stupid having flashbacks of your life before you die thing, so she kind of got used to calling herself Yifei Zheng again. Either way, the idea of having a new name is like new life--a new person. In the end, it has created three distinct layers of her person: what she was like when she was human, what she is like as a deity, and a mix of both. They switch easily and usually the more dominant in mind is the mix of both while what she was before tends to show more in her actions daily. But a deity is a deity when one needs to be.
• Damnit, daddy, why. When her father died somewhere early in the war, he didn't leave her any comforting words to help her move on. It's still the you will never amount to anything stuff despite how he wasn't referring to her, but himself. So forth, the war and any battlefield became a playground where death was a great prize. There is nothing wrong with ridding the world of a worthless existence.
• Then there's the deity ego thing... Listed as the deity of possibilities and opportunities, she isn't exactly as haughty as others while getting into her new facet. Despite that, she does give off a more prominent and polished air than her usual self.
• Worlds worlds worlds, she's even more open-minded with the idea there are different planes with different types of population! Planes planes planes, they are always being watched.
• She really thinks that if she didn't make the decision to join the military, then she would have led a better life by far. She even checked using her distortion field.
• Once again, all the things that happened in war only reinforced her desensitization toward all things horrid and disgusting about slaughter and manipulation.
